Photography

The collection contains nearly 1,000 photographs including works by Cindy Sherman, Man Ray, Ralston Crawford, Laurie Simmons, Brassai, Jessie Tarbox Beals, Joel Meyerowitz, and the recent donation of examples by Northwest photographers, including Ruth Bernhard and Shedrich Williames. The opportunity to display them is severely limited in the current 264 square feet of the Works on Paper Gallery. The expansion will allow photographs from the collection to be displayed regularly on a rotating basis.
